Privacy Policy

Who the Service is for

SubSheet accounts are for adults 18 years of age or older. Children may not create an account. Coaches may enter information about youth players (such as names and jersey numbers) in order to build lineups. That information is provided by the coach, not collected from the child through the Service.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us and information created when you use the Service:

• Account. Email address, password (stored by our auth provider, not in a form we can read), and sign-in session data.
• Workspace. Leagues, divisions, teams, rotation templates, games, lineups, notes, opponent names, and similar coaching data you enter.
• Player and youth information. Names, jersey numbers, and other roster details you type. This can include information about minors.
• Communications. Emails we send for sign-in links, account confirmation, password reset, email changes, and similar account messages you request or that are required to run the Service. Those messages are sent by Resend from an address on mail.subsheet.app.
• Technical data. Standard logs that hosting and authentication providers may process (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) to operate, secure, and debug the Service.
• Usage analytics. Anonymized page views and similar traffic data (such as which pages are opened, referrer, browser, device type, and country). We use Vercel Web Analytics for this. It does not use cookies and is not used for advertising.

Cookies and sign-in

We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and to run the Service. These are needed for login, not for advertising. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; some features will not work if you do.

How we use information

We use information to:

• Create and maintain your account and workspace
• Provide rotation templates, lineups, games, stats, sharing, and related features
• Send account-related email (login links, confirmations, password and email changes)
• Secure the Service, prevent abuse, and fix problems
• Understand and improve the Service
• Comply with law and respond to lawful requests

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

• Service providers. We use vendors that process data on our behalf to operate SubSheet. Today that includes Vercel (hosting and Web Analytics), Supabase (database and authentication), and Resend (account email). We may use additional providers such as error monitoring and similar tools. When we add a named provider that materially changes how data is collected, we will update this policy.
• Your own sharing. If you use Share or download a lineup image, that file leaves SubSheet and is subject to the app or person you send it to.
• Legal and safety. We may share information if required by law, to protect SubSheet or others, or in connection with a merger, sale, or similar transaction, in which case this policy will still apply or you will be notified.

Youth player data

If you enter names or other details about players who are children, you are responsible for having the right to do so (including any parent, league, or school rules that apply). Use SubSheet only for coaching that roster. Do not use the Service to collect information from children about themselves. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account. If you believe a child created an account, email contact@subsheet.app.

How long we keep information

We keep account and workspace data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or de-identify personal information we control, except where we must keep a record (for example to complete a deletion request, prevent abuse, or comply with law). Backups may take a short additional time to expire.

Your choices

• You can view and edit most workspace data in the Service.
• You can change your email or password in Account settings.
• To delete your account and workspace, email contact@subsheet.app. We handle deletion by hand. Tell us the email on the account.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls provided by our vendors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your password and email account safe.

Where information is processed

We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. If you use SubSheet from another country, you understand that information may be transferred to the United States.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The effective date at the top will change. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy. If a change is material, we will provide a more prominent notice when reasonable (for example an in-app or email notice).
